I’m a family photographer based in Warwickshire.

The top photo is me and my brother when we were young, a photo taken by our Mum. It’s framed and on display in my home. I don’t have many photos like this, showing us just being ourselves.   Since our parents passed away the family photos have become so much more important.  This one has survived because it’s a high quality print, and to me it’s priceless.  This is why I’m a family photographer.  You may fall in love with beautiful family photos now, but their real value comes later. The value increases with the years until they become priceless personal heirlooms – for you, your children & their children.

How does it work?   I will come to you – the images are taken in the familiar surroundings of your garden, home, or your favourite gardens, woods, or other location. The children will relax and have fun – enjoyment which is reflected in the resulting images. You’ll feel comfortable, and the shoot will be in a setting that allows the whole family to be themselves. Authentic images that show your children’s personalities.  I do have a small studio, but children & the outdoors go together so naturally, and clients loves the beautiful backdrop of nature, or their home & garden, so that’s where I usually take the photos.

Then I’ll show you the carefully edited images and the display options about two weeks later – I have a dedicated room at my home in Studley (near Alcester, Warwickshire) for this. There’s no hard sell. It’s all flexible and stress-free.

I travel throughout the region, and occasionally internationally.  I am a multiple award winning portrait photographer who understands family life and doesn’t mind getting muddy! My photos have been published in the local and national  (Professional Photographer magazine, Sunday Mirror, Irish Examiner) press. Discerning parents love my  beautiful images and outstanding service.

I look forward to meeting you and your family. Laurence Jones

“We love the photos – I’m mesmerized by them. They look great on the wall, I’m so pleased with them. There was another family photographer we saw later, but he was in a much poorer location, it was so busy there.  I was so thankful we were with you!”

“The best thing about a picture is that it never changes, even when the people in it do”
